Laser Geometrical Measurements
Easy-Laser® recognizes the broad need for laser measurements within industry today. To meet that need, they have developed an unmatched range of measurement programs that can be built into the Easy-Laser® alignment systems. The product range includes: D600 Machine, D630 Extruder, D650 Linebore, D660 Turbine, D670 Parallelism, D800 Machine, along with multiple accessories and expandability.
The D600 Machine is a versatile system for laser geometrical measurements. Typical applications include laser measurement of straightness, flatness, parallelism, and spindle direction in machine tools. This system is expandable with laser transmitters and accessories to meet your needs.
The D630 Extruder is designed to measure straightness and direction of pointing, primarily on extruder pipes. The well thought out design of this laser measurement system ensures that the measurement procedure is quick and accurate, handling diameters as small as 1” and up to 150 measurement positions.
The D650 Linebore is designed to measure straightness of bores and bearing journals, both in the shop and in the field. This system includes stable construction for excellent measurement accuracy and is capable of measuring both open and closed bearing pockets, handling up to 150 measurement positions. Typical applications include crankshaft and camshaft bearings in diesel engines, bearing journals and hull penetrations in propeller shaft installations, positioning in machine tools, and line bores of rotating equipment.
The D660 Turbine system is designed for straightness measurements of bearing journals and diaphragms, where there are bearing halves with different diameters, primarily in turbines. The system is simple to set up and use and can handle up to 150 measurement points. Typical applications include diaphragms and bearing journals in turbines, compressors, and similar equipment.
The D670 Parallelism is designed for the laser measurement of rolls and stands in numerous applications, such as papermaking machines, printing presses, and rolling mills. This system can measure up to 150 rolls. In addition to parallelism, the system can measure straightness, flatness, and level/plumb.
The D800 Machine is a revolutionary measuring system which considerably shortens the time taken for measurement and alignment. This system uses SpinLaserTechnology™ which means that the laser beam makes a constant 360 degree sweep. The detector is placed anywhere in the laser sector and record the reading. Typical applications include straightness and flatness of machine tables and foundations, flatness of flanges, parallelism between press tables, and plane parallelism.
These systems can all be customized to meet your needs with a wide range of accessories, such as additional laser transmitters, detectors, and fixtures to fit your specific measurement need. Call IndustryUptime for a consultation today.
